CD 45 and still no af!!!!!!!!

Well as the title goes am currently on day 45 and no af. I am dry as the Sahara! This is our first cycle ttc after coming off bc. Was in with the doctor today, did a urine test and came back neg. He reckons theres a good chance I could be preg but it could take 1-2 weeks before it shows up on any tests?? My head is all over the place. How would you's rate our chances??

some say, BCP cause dryness... But I really don't think so!! 45 days is still pretty early.... Much depends on which CD you have ovulated..ie, much depends on how many days DPO you are.. Because it's only after you ovulate, can you concieve and the baby implants... So if some babies happen to be late implanters, it may take sometime for the hormone to build up in your system and show up in the test.... I know a friend who got her BFP only on CD 50 cause that cycle she had ovulated on CD 25 !!!!

of course its possible that you could be pg, but when i went off the bcp this past May i had a really long cycle. the first one after was 28 days, the second 35 and the third was a whole 92 days!!! i thought iwas never gonna get af. but now i seem to be back on track. just be patient. i know its hard when your ttc but sometimes you just need to let your body run its course.

hopefully this isnt the case for you and you are pg, fingers crossed!

I'm in the same boat. On cd 43 and still no af. Negative pregnancy tests. The doctor said just wait, I hate waiting it's torture!

were you on the pill or something like implanon or depo? implanon and depo take forever to get cycles back..i waited 6 months for mine after implanon. (yeah..they forget to mention that when they are promising your fertility comes back as soon as it is removed )

Wooh 92 days!!! Thats mental how did you not go mad??

i pretty much did go mad. i couldnt believe it was taking so long. but af came and this cycle has been normal so we'll see.. i know bcp can screw up your body a little bit. hopefully you dont have to wait as long as i did.. its torture, especially when ttc.

If it's your first cycle off BCP, you probably ovulated very late or you haven't ovulated at all yet. I'd test again in about 5 days. If you want to know if you ovulate and when, chart BBT. It saved my life when I came off BCP lol xx

Hi thanks, Cd 52 today. I'll try and hold off til middle of week maybe Wed. So glad I've work to occupy myself otherwise I would have my husband drive mental

When I came off the pill it took nearly 6 months to get my cycle back! (we wern't ttc at the time fortunately). I've just come off implanon and my got af 3 weeks later. I guess everybody's different. Fxd for you, I know how frustrating the wait can be.

My last cycle was 92 days. Its been 9 months since I came off BCP!
