CD12 10 mm folicle -- any chance this cycle?

Hi, everyone!

This cycle, I've been on dexamethasone since day 3, letrozole day 3-7, estrogen day 8-12, and progesterone day 12 until + hpt or af.

Went in for a follicle check on day 12 and they only saw one follicle (on my right ovary) and it was only at 10mm (or so). She said it could still grow. I'm not sure if I ovulated or not based on my chart since I'm on vaginal progesterone (which I know can inflate temperatures). I've also never ovulated probably in my LIFE, so I have no sort of idea about my "normal" when it comes to ovulation, etc.

My doctor never got back to me about my chances, the US tech just said to stay strong and that's it. *sigh*

My question is, does pregnancy ever happen with small follicles? Anyone had success with that?

This is my 6th treatment and I've not ovulated on any of my previous treatments. Don't want to get my hopes up, but I also don't want to lost hope at all.

Follies can grow up to 3 mm a day in the last day or two before ovulation, and since you're only at day 12, then yes, I would say there is a good chance you might ovulate.

Have they tried you on injectables yet?

No, they haven't tried injectables, but my doc said it was an option maybe for the future. She said if the dex + all the other stuff combination doesn't work after 2 attempts then she may refer us to a specialist, but we haven't had a hardcore conversation about additional options this time yet. It's been a doozie of a journey, I tell ya...LOL. The whole not ovulating thing is super frustrating. I came to realize I've probably never ovulated ever and we don't know why. My thyroid seems fine, as does my insulin (even though I take metformin just in case). *sigh*

My chart seems to indicate I've ovulated, but I'm a bit distrustful of the chart since I'm on vaginal progesterone each night and I'll bet that's what's raising my temperature. I guess we'll see, LOL.
