I personally like them ,and they can get away with it because they're born popular and rich.
They dont need a "professional name" to make it in life.

I love Lourdes (Madonnas daughters name) And calling her Lola for short, ive always like that name.
Some celeb baby names are ok but some are over the top.
Each to there own though.

Yeah some are a bit OTT....but they get away with it, and probably don't need to worry about their names looking silly on CVs....I mean who cares if your baby is called Romeo, Brooklyn or Cruz when its followed by Beckham lol!

I do love Bluebell (Geri Halliwells daughters name) but I think Apple is taking it a bit too far!

I'll be interested to see what Coleen and Wayne Rooney call theirs

I love Johnny Depp's name for his little girl Lily-Rose Melody Depp. Reese Witherspoon called her little girl Ava Elizabeth, I'd love to call my little girl Ava but OH is insisting spelling it Eva and we just can't agree. One of Roger Federer's little girls is called Myla Rose which I think its pretty but the other is called Charlene Riva which I dislike. Mel C called her bubba Scarlett (I have a weakness for Gone with the Wind). I also love all three of Nicole Kidman's childrens names Isabella Jane, Connor Anthony and Sunday Rose.

I won't say the celeb baby names that I hate because someone is bound to get offended!

we are seriously screwed with names... we have no idea!! i have a girls name i like but will have to wait till tuesday to see if i need to persuage the oh hehe!

I think Apple is a ridiculous name IMO! I do like some of them tho, Shiloh is very pretty and Johnny Depp has the same name as I have for my little girl!

Some of them are beyond terrible....Pilot Inspektor?! Come on, that's seriously bad! Audio Science, Moon Unit, or Moxie Crimefigher...not good names. Bronx Mowglie or Zuma Nesta Rock....sorry, not something I would want to grow up with.

Of course, some are normal and others aren't too bad. Sunday Rose, Harlow Winter Kate, Kingsley, Maddox, Shiloh, Apple, Bluebell....they are passable as names at least!

I love Piper Maru, but I am a big X Files fan which probably has a lot to do with it. Oscar is really cute too and I am getting used to Felix.

Zuma Nesta Rock is probably the one I dislike most and unlike most people I think Apple is rather cute. Not a good idea though, I can't imagine it growing well with the child. Its cute on a little kid but it would just be weird on an adult.

When Nicole Kidman's baby name was announced on TV I misheard it as Sunday Roast and that's put me off it now.

Not sure how you spell it but Nicolas Cage called his son Kal-El after Superman's real name and at first I thought it was horrible but I'm quite fond of it now (wouldn't dream of using it though).

I do like Vivienne Marchelline, which Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt used for one of thier twins, I think it sounds very elegant.

Its a old one but I love 'Heavenly Hiraani Tiger Lily' by Michael Hutchence and Paula Yates but then my daughter is called Heavenly I also love 'Blue Angel' by David Howell Evans from u2 this is my daughter Heavenlys middle name lol

I do like unusual names but when it comes to pilot inspector and Audio science its taking the pee! lol

IMHO I think that most celebrity names are a load of bullshit, Its like what someone said in another thread - they are only doing it for attention. I think there are alot of names that are unusual and completly acceptable but I think names like:

Apple <-- How about I call mine Watermelon! Or Avocado!
Princess Tiaamii - Oh. My. God.
Audio Science - That poor poor child.
Blue Angel - Sorry previous poster! Not keen at all!
Fifi Trixibell - This name makes me want to puke.
Willow Camille Reign - WHY WHY WHY?!

I could go on... The list is endless!!

There are a few pretty celebrity names though... Makes me think if they actually name their kids themselves..... Or if they have a "baby-namer" or something that comes up with the most extravagant rediculous names to try and beat the other celebrity parents! Urgh seriously does make me cringe..... I guess at least most of their parents are pretty damn famous - maybe just maybe they won't get ripped on too badly for that reason!!!! x
