Cervical Mucus

Hello,

I recently had a tubal reversal (7/2010) the hubby and I are trying to conceive but I am not sure that I have the egg white mucus I am reading so much about... I have tried checking but all I am seeing is the regular wet stuff.. Is this normal ??

And can someone please explain the ovulation cycle to me a bit better ?? I have used many different calendars to try and predict but they all give me different dates...My last period was on 8/28 and I usually have a 30 day cycle..So the calendar predicted the 8th through the 13th..The morning of the 12th I woke up with pretty bad cramps in my right side that lasted about an hour...Does this mean I ovulated ????
Before I had the surgery the doctor tested my husbands sperm as well as my fertility and they both came back good...(just a little side note in case the question came up)

Any help with the questions would be great...I am so ready to have a baby..

Some get ov pains before and/after ov, so it's good idea to continue just incase

Only way to be sure is to chart temps, but you can get cheap internet OPKs (ovulation predictor kits) too.

Some people get watery cm instead of EWCM, you may be one of them.
