Had stitch put in 4 days agoa ll fine this is my fourth..............has spinal asper usual..................which again all fine but am now exhausted by about 1pm lethargic/ no energy etc could be reaction to spianl or anemia (sp?) no bleeding so i am not worried just feeling crappy............any ideas...............

Sorry shanny, only just seen this. I felt awful after my stitch was placed - flu like symptoms, achy, exhausted and low
It lasted for a good 2/3wks and I put it down to my body's reaction to the surgery. I had a Shirodkar stitch which involves dissecting bladder away from the vaginal walls so that it can be placed high - registrar told me it is invasive and can leave you feeling rubbish. Maybe you had a shirodkar? Or could it be you're just reacting this time to the physical demands of surgery/epidural etc Hope that helps, and good luck with your pregnancy xx
