cervix checking ?? anyone??

Quick question:
I just started checking my cervix this month. yesterday i was 9 DPO and my cervix was low and firm. Today i can't seem to find it. I tried 3 times going in as far as I could and I might have just touched it, but if so, it's way up there. I thought it was supposed to stay low and firm until getting near my next ovulation?? Anybody know? are there times you just can't find it? sorry if that sounds dumb, like I said I'm kinda new to checking. thanks

I do not usually check my cervix but the cervical position doesnt really mean anything. Its not a reliable way to tell anything. Only the CM is.
