I know cervix position isn't an indicator of pregnancy. But mine is high firm and super closed. Can it being really closed be a good sign? I've never felt it like this.
Not poking it again this tww, it's made me feel all twingy and crampy.
Thanks in advance for any insight :) I think I'm about 9 dpo

Iv always read that the cervix should be soft when pregnant but when I checked mine it was high, firm and couldn't feel if it was closed and I got my bfp 4 days ago. Good luck x

When I was pregnant with my son, my cp was high firm and closed :)
Unfortunately my last bfn cycle, my cp was high firm and closed :(

Thanks! Wow does the tww suck!

It really does!!! I really got my hopes up last cycle because my cp was EXACTLY the same as when I was in the tww with Max!

I think it being closed is a hopeful sign depending on how soon AF is expected. If you've done cp exams through out your cycle you'll notice how VERY open it is during AF. Cp can change in a matter of hours. So its really hard sometimes to use that as an indicator of impending af/bfp. I hope this helps :)

Probably due Monday, so not too hopeful!
I'd just never felt it like that in all the months I've been checking.
Think I'm going to go back to opks and stop poking around up there instead.

Iow_bird:Cp checking I think is better for knowing when u O and the cm that you find in checking too. So that coupled with opk. Your good. Now if only someone could come up with an earlier early hpt! Lol

:) an earlier test would be awesome! Or some sort of crystal ball! This is our 10th cycle trying! So over it!

Iow_bird: I saw an article by a fertility specialist who said to take your chart for the last 12 months and look at the number of days in each cycle like(25,27,32,34 for example) then subtract 20 from the shortest cycle, then subtract 10 from the longest. In this example it would be 5-24 and he said these are the days through your cycle that you should DTD everyday.so example(cd5-cd24) have you ever heard of this? Its worth a shot.
