Sorry, this may seem like a silly question, but I had never heard about the position of a cervix until I was on this forum.

What is meant by it? Is a high cervix good or bad? How do you know? What should it be like during your peak fertile time?

Any info is much appreciated.

Before ovulation your cervix is usually firm, low and closed. When you are fertile your cervix becomes soft, high open and wet (SHOW). After ovulation it usually goes back to being firm, low and closed.

Because your cervix changes position throughout the day it's not a very reliable way of determining when to BD.

Thank you.
