can anyone tell me the position of a cervix.

....through AF?

....before, during, and after Ovulation?

....early, during, and after pregnancy?

Good questions! I have no idea but want to know the answers. How does one even check that? It seems it would be somewhat uncomfortable.

there is a useful site called mybeautifulcervix beware shows pics of actual cervixs. they say low, hard, open, before af, then soft, high open and wet(SHOW)
and early preg should be soft closed and high hope this helps good luck :hugs:

I did alot of research on this.

During AF - Low, soft, open (i think open due to the nature of af)

After - Low, hard, closed

A couple of days before ovulation - Starts to get higher and softer

Ovulation - Very high, soft, open

After ovulation - gradually gets lower, harder and closed.

Then the cycle repeats.

You will get a lot of conflicting veiws on this as everyone is different. For example, I was ovulating around 30 May and my cervix was high and soft. Its now June 5th and af came yesterday (2 weeks early) and my cervix is still very high and soft. I'm very confused!!

Best thing to do is feel your cervix everyday and log how it feels. Its not that uncomfortable. Do it at the same time everyday and in the same position.

Everyone is different by after a few cycles you will know whats 'normal' for you.

Hope i helped!!
