Cervix..tmi

Might be tmi for some.
This morning I felt a little frisky and woke my other half up with a surprise.
When I went to the loo to 'clean up' afterwards I noticed my cervix (which I usually notice in that situation) but the small pin prick hole felt a little more.. Open?

Did you notice a change in your cervix during pregnancy? It seemed a lot softer too, so I don't know if that made it feel more open?

The other day I posted about twinges and thought it was kicks or growing pains. No twinges the last two days though.

Just wondering if it's normal or whether it's something I should keep an eye on.

The cervix softens up quite a lot during pregnancy and the outer opening can feel more open even though it's still tightly closed inside. I'm sure it's fine, but if you're concerned maybe mention it at your next appointment. Obviously if you start getting regular twinges/pains you should see someone sooner but it sounds normal to me

Update. This is similar to what another lady posted about her mucus plug... I just had a wee, wiped and this big gloppy thing just came out. I checked my cervix and it feels.. More open..

No pain. Baby was moving fine after my nap this afternoon... I have took a photo but obviously don't want to post without warning x

I think that no one ever regretted going in to A&E. If just for peace of mind

I'm sure everythings ok but nothing is worth the mental torment of 'what if' that strikes at 3 in the morning XD

There's no pain though so I'm still unsure, he's still nice and wiggly and moving. Just such a weird big piece of gloopy thing! I've had small bits of what I imagine is mucus plug but nothing that big before.
I'm keeping an eye on it tonight but I'm calling midwife in the morning.
I was going to show my other half but I know he would find it way too gross! The second I feel any pain or discomfort I'll go to a&e, or if anything odd happens over the next few hours..

Called triage as to whether I should be concerned as I had another wee and then after checked inside very briefly and again could feel my cervix felt a bit more open and strange.
Almost scolded me for examining myself anyway.. I duno though I've always been able to feel my cervix with ease? I guess it's not very far in to be able to find it.

I'm not in pain. So she said that's fine unless there's blood or pain but go to the GP in the morning to get it checked if you're still worried.

Eugh I'm worrying now though. He's gone a bit quiet but he was very active earlier this afternoon.

Feel bad that she said I wouldn't examine yourself at this point... Blah. I feel like maybe I've just made it worse for myself.

I only really checked to see if there was more gloopy bits or blood? And happened to notice that at the same time.

I pray there's nothing wrong now anyway she's just made me feel worse I think :/
