hi i have been left with a massive choice on to have another section this time around i have been told that if i have a section this time i will have to all c section ??? no matter how long i wait after thiz baby i was just wondering if anyone has had a vbac after 2 sections ??

I was wondering the same thing. I have had two emergency c-sections and when hubby and i have another i would really like to try for a natural birth. Thing is, i've been told that they probably won't allow me to have a vbac. It will be interesting to see what other's thoughts are on it!

I was told this pregnancy, my third would have to be csection because both my prior babes were. However with my second I did have an option to go vbac but ended up needing a cs anyways due to BP and swelling.
Is there a reason why you are hesitant to have a VB? I guess you need to look at your pros and cons and decide this birth. I don't know of any who had VB after 2 sections but I'm sure there are some out there who have. Good luck on your decision.

When I had my second emcs I was told that any further births would have to be c sections. I'm not sure if that's policy because I've had two or the doctor did say when he opened me up that I hadn't healed very well from the first emcs so the advice might be particular to my circumstances.

A friend of mine had her fourth child last year and I'm not sure about her first but her second and third were definitely c sections. She had her fourth naturally but again I'm not sure if that was just because she was too far into labour when she got to the hospital for her to have her planned c section.

I haven't been told anything yet as I don't have my first appointment do another two weeks - but I will be pushing for a VBA2C too. First csection was EMCS, second was planned. I don't see why I can't be given a trial of labour at the very least as the reasons I had my CS wouldn't affect labour IYKWIM.
Plus my hospital is the largest one in hundreds of kilometres, so I doubt they can't refuse me :grr:

I found an interesting link about a lady who had a VBAC and she has three previous C sections. I guess a lot depends on any risk factors and how willing and confident your doctor/hospital is.
