change in eating pattern today

Hi girls. Just looking for reassurance

I'm feeding Jessica on demand. Normally this is 3/4oz every 3/4 hours. But today has been odd!

Her night feed was at 1.45am and she took her usual 4oz. Her next feed was at 6.45 and she only took 2oz. She then had another 2oz at 8.45, and then 3.5oz at 11.45!

She was a bit grumpy after this feed and didnt nap. I ended up feeding her again around 2.45 as she was screaming! She only took 2oz again and has been napping since.

I know feeding on demand is normal, but is this ok? It's basically an ounce an hour she has taken.

As long as your baby has enough wet (6-10 at first)/dirty (1-2 bms a day) diapers a day. To be safe ask your pediatrician on their reccomendations to be safe.
