I used to take mycrogynon 30 for years but then changed to celest as i heard it was a better pill for you! i got no side effects from using either. I do however get cramps just before i finish a packet - around 2 to 3 days before! very similar to period cramps.. i sometimes feel like i'm going to actual come on but then they go again. I put it down to my body understanding my pill packet and knowing i'm approaching 21 days when i finish the packet. Speak to your doc though for peace of mind.

I have been on microgynon for about 6 years.. i still got period pains just very small ones..

I agree with the other girls, probably speaking with your doctor for their advice would be your best bet.

Yeah speak to your doctor. I was on microgynon 30 for about 4 years and i was fine with it. Now have been changed to ovranette for some unexplained reason and i'm having a nightmare with it! If you've started experience different amounts of pain though i would definitely consult a doctor xx
