Hi Girls
Need some advice again! Got my LO weighed yesterday and he's going really well 15.5lbs at 14 weeks and still following the line on the growth chart - asked hv about early weaning and she said probably not needed yet since his weight gain is still on the line but she said that if he starts dropping off the line then maybe start thinking about some baby rice - which is absolutely fine by me.
We have gone from getting up once a night to 2 or 3 times a night, considering he put away the best part of 40oz yesterday I know he can't be hungry but he still woke up twice in the night for food, so I'm thinking this is a bad habit he's gotten into after his 12 week growth spurt. He has never slept through so I expecting to get up once anyway which is fine.
I'm undecided which way to go now do I
a) offer him less and less at these night feeds until he doesn't wake up at all for food - I now this is going to take a bit more time in the long run
b) offer him his usual feed at 2or 3 am and then just water if he wakes up again
c) bring bedtime forward an hour (which shouldn't be a problem) and then offer him a dream feed when I go to bed at around 10.30 and then hope he will go until 5 or 6am
I'm having trouble deciding which is the best option - a couple of weeks ago I wouldn't have dared change his routine but I figured since its all messed up anyway now then I can't be any worse off!
Opinions please and sorry for such a long post
xx

Have you tried offering him water when he wakes up in the night?

Not sure my lil one still gets up 3-6x a night no matter what i do, offer water, dream feed, bit or rice. Up till 14 weeks he only got up once but now he is a NIGHTMARE!! let me know works and ill prob try it again :D XXxX

Think I'm going to try water tonight and see how we go. Anyone got any idea how much ? I was thinking maybe 1 or 2 oz ? Pretty clueless as usual! D'oh
