hello my lo has been on sma lf for 10 days recomended by the hv because she said he was lactose intolerant due to the sicking and ecxma, it was working now but now for the last few days he has been really sicky, the hv said it might be because he is constipated, he is still gaining weight and is 12 pound and 8 weeks 3 days old, any advice will be much apreciated
thanks in advance x x

Was your baby tested for lactose intolerance? Our 4mth old was 3mths old and i knew there was something wrong because his bowel motions were like water and smelt really sweet. His stool and urine samples were tested and came back as a mild intolerance and is now on Karicare De Lact formula, his bowels are some what "normal" now and the horrid smell is gone. Our boy has always been a happy chucker , gets annoying after every feed, knowing he's going to without fail bring something up. He's gaining weight and is healthy so they keep telling me he should grow out of the spit ups when he starts to eat. How often does your lo use his bowels? does it seem regular? I'm not actually sure i've answered any of your questions?! lol

thanks for replying, he goes a poo once a day now but before he was on the new milk it was explosive poos about 3/4 times a day, he now struggles to get it out of him now,
he hasnt been tested for it but hv and doctor said it was due to all his symptoms and said he will grow out of it,
