changing avatar issues

Hey all, I'm trying to change my avatar and I keep getting a message, upload of file failed, I'm not sure what's different. All the pictures have been taken with my phone and uploaded on my phone, the same as all my avatars have been... Any ideas or thoughts would be much appreciated! TIA

Ok, now it isn't even pretending to work, I pick the picture i want to upload and it redirects me to my home page! Not even a baby and bump page. What is the issue here? Is it my phone? The website? Any thoughts?

In case anyone else has this problem I restarted my phone, complete shutdown, came back and now it works
