We have been given a changing unit but not sure where to put it. Our bathroom is downstairs so do we put it there or upstairs in beanies bedroom

Any thoughts

I would put it in your room, or where ever baby will be sleeping.

And then just have a normal changing mat down stairs. I used the one out of my boots bag for living room and a cot top one any other time

You will find where it is more convenient to change baby for you. We have a changing pad kept centrally in our house, and little changing 'baskets' with supplies in a few locations. For our first, we had a changing area in our bedroom, but never brought the baby in there to change!

We bought the boori cot bed from john lewis. It comes with a changing unit you can place on top of the cot. So when it is not in use you can hide it under the cot bed.

Mines at the end of her cotbed. Facing out for straight facing changing.

God knows why some are put so changes are done from the side, that just screams awkward!

Side changing is a pain. Changing rooms out and about only have side change and I am short and its just a nightmare lol!
