SHORT VERSION:

Do you think I've O'd yet or not? I don't want to get my hopes up. I did temp on Fri. and Sat., later than normal and I know the adjusted temps were around 97.0, but I don't remember exactly so I didn't record them.

LONG VERSION:

I don't work on Fri, Sat, and Sun, so last weekend I decided that I was most likely having an anovulatory cycle, and I might as well just relax and sleep in (as opposed to setting my alarm for 5 a.m. to temp). I would pick temping back up during the work week.

I did temp on Fri and Saturday when I woke up between 7:30-8:30 or so, and then did quick calculations on the adjustments and went on with my life. I know that the normal adjustment formula works pretty well for my body. Anyway, Fri. and Sat. the adjusted temps weren't anything significant, pretty much hovering around 97.0 degrees or thereabouts, so I didn't bother recording anything. I didn't temp at all on Sunday, I just forgot completely!

So now this week, M-Thurs, looks like a thermal shift and O pattern! FF didn't pick it up in the Advanced mode (unless I put temps in for the previous days, but I didn't want ot put in false temps as I couldn't remember exactly). So I put it in Fertility Awareness Mode and it gave me the crosshairs. Those temps are in line with last cycle's post-o temps...

Do you think I O'd or not? I don't want to get my hopes up that I actually did.

Totally not a charting expert  but I had a squint and it certainly does look very much like previous cycle after O so far! This is a long cycle for you though by the looks of things and you've had a lot of variation in temps - no opks this month?

I did do some OPKs around the same time that I O'd last month, and then a few more later in the cycle, but all negative. I didn't get a positive last cycle either, but obviously from my temps I ovulated, plus I had CD21 bloods to confirm.

This time my doc just assumed I'd ovulate again on the clomid I guess. I'm thinking that the clomid was the reason my pre-O temps are so screwy. First cycle I took it at night with no side effects, this cycle I took it in the morning as it was easier to keep the timing consistent, but I'd get bad hot flashes about 24 hrs later, which meant as I was waking up the next morning. Also, until about CD19 I wasn't sleeping through the night, and I finally took a sleeping pill to reset my body, and I've been sleeping okay since then.

I've still been getting really warm at night, which then makes me sleep with less covers so that may be lowering my temps a bit...

Uggh I hate the uncertainty!

Well that certainly explains the ups and downs, and it does look like things settled a little after CD19 - there's nothing worse than not getting a good night's ! From looking at what your chart's doing I would say you o'd, but just need to keep an eye for next few days! Fx'd there is an eggy and you caught it!

Thanks! I was contemplating stopping temping again this weekend -- it really helps set the stress-free tone. But I might go ahead and do it considering the uncertainty of it all...

wow, i looked at your chart before i read the rest of the conversation and responses here. i was going to say "mmm, maybe no O yet" because your pre-suspected O temps this cycle are just so different from last cycle, but now that I know all the other "stuff" going on with clomid schedule change, sleep problems, hot flashes, etc, then maybe yes! :)

temping doesn't stress me out at all. i set my alarm for an hour before i have to get up. i temp using a flashlight to read the temp when it's done and then i go back to sleep for a while. so i'll continue to do it. BUT, if it stressed me out at all, i would totally quit too.

Well, I woke up at 5:30 a.m. on my own, so I went ahead and temped and just subtracted the 0.1 degrees to adjust down to 5 a.m.. My temp was even higher than before! Yay!

I did wake up around 3 or 3:30 and go to the bathroom and stuff, but in past experience that doesn't affect me too much as far as temps go.

The only thing that's confusing me is my cervix is STILL high, STILL relatively soft, and I am not sure yet on the open/closed thing so I can't really say as far as that goes. I haven't felt it go low and hard at all so far..... last cycle it went so low the day after AF that BD was painful!

My nipples are sensitive though, and were noticeably sensitive yesterday too, which is often a sign of ovulation for me... but what'sup with my cervix? Arrghh
