Charting and temp dips! 9dpo temp drop, implantation?

Hey ladies,

I had a temp dip at 5dpo, I was hopeful as my two pregnancy charts I had the same thing, that said I have had dips at 5dpo before just not as big and not been preggo.

I tested bfn yesterday and today.

This morning 9dpo I had another .4 dip... Any ideas what this could be? Obviously I'm hopeful its implantation dip as its very strange for me to have two big dips but then I don't want to get my hopes up again only to be smacked down.... Anyone wanna talk some sense into me!?

It could be anything Hun.
I've learnt that anything can happen, it could really go either way.
I've had both dips before a BFP, and no dips before.
I hope this is a good dip though

I wish i knew - I hope it's implantation dip for you! I've had such an off month, i feel like anything I learned about charting so far is now out the window. I didn't think I O'd, then I got a surge this weekend finally, then this morning's temp dipped to below the cover line. Sooooo....I hope someone comes on here with more knowledge. Do you track online? might be helpful if you're able to include a link to your chart for people to see.

Had huge up and down dips after O before my BFP. Literally, up one day, dropped way down the next, way up again, etc clear up until 9 DPO when I got my BFP. Dont read too much into it

oh der, sorry - it was tucked between 2 graphics so I missed it! well it looks like you're still above your cover line, so that's great!

cookette - did you drop below your cover line post-O? I am honestly going to be floored if I'm preg after this confusing month!!

I dropped TO my coverline but dont think it really ever went officially below. I was so sure I was out. I truly didnt think I had even ovulated, FF would only give me crosshairs if I forced it. Was truly a weird month!

Wow how confusing for you. Temping can be a real pain sometimes! I guess we all have off months I'll let you know if it goes back up tomorrow. I'm not expecting it to drop any more as I always have a 15day lp

thanks for the info, cookette! well, as they say, it ain't over til AF shows. Did you have any symptoms or just totally thought you were out? What made you test at 9dpo if you thought you didn't O?

I'm glad to help!! I have been where you are! No, really no symptoms AT ALL! Only trusted because I'm a pee on a stick addict and figured what the heck, I had cheap tests under the sink, may as well! At 10dpo I started having cramps and they have been off and on since!

that's so great to know, thank you so much! no weird things here either - sore BBs but I get those every month. And I would only be 4dpo if I did O when FF says I did, so that's too soon (I think) for anything. The boat's still on its way to the shore! haha

that's fantastic, glad it spiked back up there again!!
mine did not and I'm feeling pretty normal PMS signs (sore bbs, night sweats, bloated). i'm going to keep stalking this until you test! are you waiting until you miss AF or going to early?

I've been testing since 7dpo
of course its bfn... Had some questionable shadows but bfn. I think if that is a id I wont see anything until tomorrow or the day after more likely the day after imo. I'll update for sure

At 9DPO I had to reeeeally squint to see a shadow, and 10DPO I could see more of a line. Keep testing!

aaaaaaand the temp went back up this morning, above the cover line. But I could have sworn I was a little restless before I took it, but can't quite remember. Some brown spotting this morning too, but we'll see if that just leads to AF coming early. Sometimes I'll spot a day or two ahead of when AF is due.
