Checking cervix position...do you recommend it?

I'm thinking about starting to check my cervix position this cycle. I was wondering if any of you do this or have tried it and whether or not you think it's important or worth the trouble?

This last cycle was my first checking both CM and CP, and I can tell you I learned a ton! Still learning, but it has made much more in tune with my body and cycle. Knowing both CP and CM I was very confident on how close I was to O and because I knew it would be coming, for the first time ever, I actually felt it too! Not all women feel this, it was very mild and had I not suspectedI was going ovulate in the next day or so, I probably would have never put it together that's what it was. Then I was able to note the changes in CM & CP over the days following O. I don't temp and I feel pretty good about the next cycle only checking CP and CM, no OPK's and no temping. Really new to it, so hopefully some other ladies can shed a little more light on it for you. IMO, if you are checking CP then you should check CP as you are already in there

I'm all about learning as much as I can, so why not? I have really found it very interesting. Just now really starting to tell the differences though, took a while

Completely agree! You think you figure it out then realize oh, okay, this must actually be this instead! Kallie, how long have you been checking?
