Xenforo Cloud will be upgrading us to version 2.3.5 on March 3rd at 12 AM GMT. This version has increased stability and fixes several bugs. We expect downtime for the duration of the update. The admin team will continue to work on existing issues, templates and upgrade all necessary available addons to minimize impact of this new version.

It’s not like a specific diet, I’m using MacroFactor which is a paid app that adjusts your calorie and macro goals weekly based on your food log (so it compensates for if you didn’t follow their recommendation) and your weight change, so each week the calorie goal is adjusted. I set mine to high protein low carb, but not like keto low carb, I still eat bread and rice and stuff, I just prefer to eat slightly higher fat. And I honestly don’t care if I hit my carb or fat goals, I’m just trying to hit my protein goal and stay below/at my calorie goal.

I haven’t used it long enough to say with 100% certainty that it works, but it was recommended to me by a coworker who’s been using it for a long time. I will say, it assumes your maintenance calories are on the higher side when it starts (it gave me 2300 based on age/weight/activity), so when it suggests your maintenance calories I think there’s an option to say “that doesn’t look right”, so maybe you can adjust your starting point. I didn’t choose that option so I’m not sure what it says when you say no, it doesn’t look right.

people just don’t use those sites like they used to. I feel like they just go to the pregnancy side of instagram and TikTok instead. Also, while I don’t use TikTok, the pregnancy/childbirth side of instagram can be informative, but it’s not like a real community. At least on forums we’re actually talking to each other and nobody is revered as an influencer, we’re all just people. People have traded in community for consumption on social media. I’m guilty of it too, not judging anybody, just stating the problem. Sometimes I just want to delete social media off my phone, but I get all my news from social media 
and pics of people’s babies (like people I went to school with). I want to see when people have kiddos. I feel like that’s what social media was supposed to be originally, just people sharing photos and stuff with the people they know in real life, and then celebrities and influencers took over and it’s all just consuming content from strangers instead. I have no hobbies because I just scroll all day. It’s not healthy.

@autumnal Congratulations on your new job! I’m also good with you staying! I have been the sole breadwinner of my family since 2022, it’s a tough adjustment. We’ll be here for you either way.
I’ve been on this site for over a decade. It’s def quiet, but it’s still an escape from so I’ll media. I feel people can be a bit more often. I still keep in touch with a few ladies from the beginning of infertility and my first pregnancy group. We actually did a baby gift exchange with the first time mom’s group and just found the hand knit stuff someone made for me. It’s a little crochet dress, sweater, blanket, and lovie. I will be here for as long as I can.
Afm: My house got hit with the stomach bug and today was my turn. It’s the worst. I need the sickness to stop so we can pack. We move March 1st and have so much to do.

I sure hope they fix it and people come back! I know it won’t ever be as busy as it once was, but I miss following threads.
The moving part is going pretty good. We tackled the biggest stuff first, which was our storage areas. We agreed that we did not want to bring things we didn’t want or need anymore. We went through everything! We have a junk remover coming for the pile of stuff and I have 15 bags for goodwill. I have a box set aside for baby girl and got rid of all boy clothes that Gabe has outgrown. Now we just have to pack up what we have left. There are a lot of other things we have left to do. We’re only moving two blocks, but it’s another school area. They’re letting the girls finish the year, but we lost transportation. Here is only half day kindergarten so I have to find someone to get her and someone to pick my other one up at 12 and the other at 3:30. I work too far to grab them and we only have one car. I also have to touch base with all our utilities and buy some stuff for the house. I’m just praying that it will all work out and we’ll be settled soon.
