Checking CP/CM

When checking CM/CP after BD, how long do you wait to check CM/CP so you won't confuse your CM with his sperm and arousal fluid? All answers are welcome  Thanks

In Taking Charge of Your Fertility Toni Weshler said that sperm will evaporate more quickly than MC and dry on your fingers. I don't bother checking until the next day. Usually by the time I have sex I have already checked my CP and don't check it again until the next day.

I usually wait until the next day, afternoon. By the time we have sex I've already checked for that day (probably a couple times already ) so the next day I check but not until afternoon. At this point I can usually tell the difference between semen and actual CM, but it can be hard to tell, so I wait almost 24 hours. Usually by the afternoon of the next day I'm getting actual CM again.
