Chicco side by side crib

Hello,

We're thinking of buying the Chicco side by side crib for the new baby. Does anyone know if the angelcare breathing pad monitor will work with it? I really want to use the monitor again but I think the Chicco crib has a soft base which might mean we get lots of false alarms. Does anyone use both?

We have the Chico next to me.. I didn't used our angel sounds in the end this time but basically the base in really hard not soft so should be fine.

Hi, it doesn't work with this crib. The hard base is actually in the mattress so you can't lay the pad on top of it. Below the mattress is a saggy piece of canvas like material. You might be able to fashion something to make it work though.

The next to me crib is the best thing we bought incidentally! We didn't end up using the monitor.

We use the monitor fine with our chicco next to me. However we had bought an additional mattress for it so turned over the mattress that came with it so that the hard base was facing up, then the monitor went on that with the new mattress on top.
