Is it paid in on a particular day like a Monday or just whenever?
Also I recieved Jacks birth cert back from them on weds with a slip saying here is the birt cert we are looking into your claim. How long does it take to go in after this.

we get it paid monthly round the 7th of the month

ours took a while to begin with cos they had our bank details wrong

i get mine paid every tuesday as i am a single parent and they give u this option or you can wait and get it monthly. mine was sorted out within 2-3 weeks as was my tax credits and sure start maternity grant but i think i was one of the lucky ones lol

My child benefit is paid every tuesday, As lilysmum says you are given this option when you apply. I vaguely remember mine taking 3wks too x

Every tuesday for me too so looks like thats when everyone must get it, I hadnt even thought about applying for Oscar so I consider myself reminded! x

Yeah as the others have said, i chose the weekly option so it goes in on a Tuesday and after getting birth cert back it was in the following Tuesday before recieveing it in writing so it may be in on Tuesday for u, just check incase. Kx

Every tues for us too and it took about a week after we got the birth certificate back

Looked in bank and its gone in, also got a confirmation letter today. Thanks for the help

Mine is every 4weeks on a tuesday and it took a week or possibly 2 can't remember now
