Me and my ex have shared custody. He has my daughter 2 week nights and 1 weekend night. Way too much but I've tried way too hard to be fair to him. I'm sure it won't be much longer until he starts to disappear anyway. Anyway because he doesn't ever pay a penny towards her I'm going to apply for maintenance. With him having her 2-3 nights per week it works out I should get £38 per week from him. Just wondered will he still be responsible for paying for her childcare during his time? We both work full time. Does anyone have experience of this?

Usually yes he has to pay 50% of the child care or some courts do it based on what the parents incomes are . He has her almost half the week though a lot of the time I've seen if they have them 50% of the time they usually forego child support and such ?

I don't know but I know for me I pay 10% of daycare costs and dad pays 90 % because his income is a lot higher then mine
