Just wondering what provider you all used for your LOs Child Trust Fund??

The Childrens Mutual too - no particular reaon, have no idea whatsoever about investments, but when I signed up, if you agreed to save at least £10 a month by DD, & they gave you £30 in mothercare vouchers, mine arrived yesterday

Think it may have gone down to £20 now, though I may be wrong

children's mutual - because it's so specialised and the investments are ethical.

Engage Mutual Assurance. I chose them as they only invest in the FTSE 100. I considered this would be a safer option in the long run. I've also opened a normal savings account for him.

If you don't open one for your LO the Government will do it for you after 12 months.
It's much better to open one yourself as you'll be able to choose the type of account and the provider.

If you don't open it within a year (I think), the government will automatically open one for your daughter without you having a choice who the provider is, she will also have missed out on a years worth of interest.

We invested ours with The Royal Bank of Scotland - there didn't seem to be very much between all the providers and as we already bank with them I just thought it would be easier.

We havenyt had the voucher yet as still not heard about my child benefit, but we will use nationwide as OH works there!
