Hello,

My employer has paid my childcare vouchers during maternity leave as they cannot legally deduct from smp. Does any-one know what happens during the final 3 months when you get zero pay as my payslip said -243, but they haven't taken money from bank, and I don't appear to have vouchers.

I have raised a case with HR but it usually takes a while to reply, meanwhile I have nursery fees to pay!

Thanks,

Rachel

They have to pay you the vouchers.
You are still on maternity leave so they still apply even when you are not being paid. They need to rectify it asap - I would speak to your payroll as well as HR.

Thanks, I have 'raised a case' which should get passed to the appropriate dept, just wanted to check if I should be receiving them still or not.

You'll get those vouchers for free Hun. They need to amend the payslip
