Well if I am completely honest Luke doesnt have anything to do with Jacobs life really and I have since day 1 wanted to have him christened but can I do it without Luke knowing? he would just put such a downer on the day if he even let me do it and the whole god parents situation would be a mess x

i think you should tell him just in case he ever wanted to throw it back in your face but dont let him make all the decisions or even some of them he hasnt been involved and has no right to come barging in with his orders just do what you want to do but at least he know then xxx

If his name is on the birth certificate you can't have your LO christened without his permission. Annoying I know, I'm in the opposite situation. My ex wants Grace christened catholic and I don't. He can't do it unless I agree but then I can't get her christened christian without him saying so.
