Since about September i've been stressing about Xmas, the prob is my mum works abroard and wont be home (unless baby is here) as she is aiming on coming home for his due date in jan, my brother lives with my dad so i always have them for xmas. I wanted a quiet one as i'll be heavily pregnant and wanted to spend the day in my pj's really but DH really wanted his mum and dad to come, so it then turns into this big family xmas. His mum wanted us to go there but its not so relaxed as my dad and bro don't know DH's parents that well! So we all agreed to go out to eat!
Well 3 weeks ago i was in hospital thinking the baby was coming early and then i paniked thinking if this happens at xmas what a waste booking the restaurant is etc, so we have now decided that my MIL will cook the turkey and puddings at her house and i will do the rest and everyone will come to my house to eat, i don't have to do loads of cooking but don't have to have someone else cooking in my kitchen, which i would hate! I think it will all work out well and lottie gets to spend all day playing with her toys!!
I'm going into hiding next year! :dohh:

Glad you sorted it out. We have a similar problem in that my family all live in Bristol, OH's family in Luton, and we live smack bang in the middle. Plus OH is working christmas so in the end we have decided that I will take James home to my family for 24th-27th and then come home. We are going to celebrate christmas a little early at home with DSS too. Christmas is so stressful lol.

Yep trying to please everyone! I wont get to spend the day in my pj's but at least i can spend it at home and it wont be to stressful! x

glad you got it sorted, it can be tough trying to please everyone :hugs:
