Christmas Day

Chocolate orange for breakfast obviously!!

I have a busy day planned...

my family are coming for lunch - turkey dinner with Christmas Pud for dessert

My family AND in-laws coming for dinner!!! I'm putting on a buffet - just finished writing my shopping lists :)

All this cos I didn't want to drag Jessica out on Christmas day... she'll be able to play with her new toys (and boxes/paper!) I'll be preparing most of it Christmas Eve and hope it all goes smoothly on the day!

It's summer here so we are fling salads and BBQ. With cold roast meats and a table full of desserts.

I am SO excited for Christmas. :)

It will just be the three of us this year for our first Christmas as a family!

Cream of garlic soup to start

a maple & mustard glazed ham, possibly a pork loin with crackling, roast potato, roast root vegetables & sprouts with apple sauce & home made gravy

Not sure about dessert! Maybe an apple crumble or a chocolate/caramel cheesecake?

Way too much food for 2 adults, we will be eating ham & pork for days lol!

I'm so excited! 1 week from now it will be christmas!

My question is - how do you all fit starters in? That said we're a 2 puddings plus cheese board kind of family!

it's a long haul event. I take my time. I get the job done. ;-)
