It is possible LO will be late for Christmas, but in hopes that she'll be arriving before then (due the 15th) I've been thinking of Christmas gifts to give the grandparents, especially because she's the first grand baby on both sides.

So far I've thought of newborn photo's and and ornament - either cast from a footprint or handprint. I saw a shirt that said "Trust me, I'm a grandpa" that cracked me up that I may have to pick up for my FIL.

Curious what you ladies are thinking.

Even though my LO isn't due until after Christmas (I guess there's always the possibility she'll come early) I would like to get my mum and dad something for all their help, and make it from baby.
I don't know where you're from and this is an Australian site but I'm sure you could get similar things anywhere

We bought everyone a mug (they said super nanny, glamourous granny, we love you grandpa, favourite uncle, etc) but she was four weeks old and would have been at least a week old.

They went down really well. I think we also got the grandmothers a silly "grandmas favourite recipes" type book.

For her next Christmas, I got all her grandparents a Christmas tree decoration with an out print of her hand and the year written on it.x

Mine's going to be a bit too late for Christmas, but this is my plan for next year! :) https://media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/originals/f9/1c/a0/f91ca05e6b74ea9873932b668010f623.jpg
