Take any big toys out of the box and make them up. Makes for interesting wrapping to. It has had my kids in stitches most Christmases.

Take toys out of the box and put there batteries in before you wrap

Buy batteries when you buy the toy (if it needs them) then you know you have the right ones for each toy & enough x

Take kids toys out of the box an take hose annoying bits of wrapped plastic off and put back in box to wrap. Makes them rattle but saves alot of time and frustration

Great idea about getting rid of those evil twist ties before wrapping!!! and yes, scissors (that work) and screw driver a must!!!!

Agreed, buy wrapping paper early if you can... I really must write all this down lol! I never did get my cards out last year... get it done early better early than never lol!

I agree with buying paper early! And make sure you have enough

Put tags on presents straight after you wrap!! One year i wrapped a load of presents and couldn't remember what was for who

I always buy my paper last minute lol Morrisons always reduce there christmas stuff 2/3weeks before christmas so I then go mad buying it lol

Agree with the battress etc.. I just take most toys out of the box I think the funny shapes make for intresting opening pictures

ALWAYS have a back up plan incase part of dinner is wrong.

My aunty ended up christmas morning trying to find a turkey she had defrosted hers and turned out it was manky eww

Set out your drinks/snacks for Christmas morning on a tray (minus the tea obv.) the night before so you don't have to fanny about in the kitchen when everyone wants to open presents.

HAVENT READ THE WHOLE THREAD SO THIS MAY ALREADY BE ON HERE BUT HERE IS A GREAT ONE I PICKED UP: COVER A SHOWBOX IN WRAPPING PAPER SO IT LOOKS LIKE A PRESENT AND PUT IT UNDER YOUR TREE THEN USE IT TO KEEP ALL YOUR WRAPPING THINGS (RIBBONS, BOWS, SCISSORS, SELLOTAPE,) TAGS, BATTERIES ETC IN IT. kEEPS THINGS TIDY AND ALL YOUR WRAPPING STUFF TO HAND
