I like it. I've only seen it spelled with a K, and it was the name of a female character in a book, but I can definitely see it being a unisex name.

It's pronounced with a hard K. I like the name and it reminds me of Cillian Murphy who I love as an actor!

I love it and it was on our list. The only thing is we couldn't agree on the pronounciation and we asked all the Irish relatives and some said Silly-an and some said Killy-an!

So we went for Ciarán!

I love it too! But I think I prefer the 'K' spelling as I think a lot of people would mispronounce Cillian.

It's irish and pronounced Kill-ian. Spelling it with a K rather than a C would avoid people getting it wrong. I think it's a lovely name!

I think with the "c" it would be pronounced "silly-an"
