Claiming MA

Hello folks

Im new to the forum so I apologise if my question has been asked countless times.

Basically...what is the deadline for applying for MA? I know the EARLIEST you can apply, I'm just not sure the latest. My baba is 9 weeks, have I missed the boat? Would I get Income Support instead?

You have until 3 months after your baby is born and it will be backdated x

Sorry just double checked and it says if you claim later than 3 months after your maternity started then you will loose money but it doesn't say they won't allow you to claim https://www.dwp.gov.uk/publications...rnity/maternity-allowance-ma/how-to-claim-ma/ x
