Kyla's thrown a bottle at my tv  and the screen is smashed. I think this should be covered on my contents insurance as accidental damage shouldn't it? I've never claimed on my insurance before so i dont really know what to do, can anybody help?

accidental damage to tvs is normally standard on contents insurance policys as long as your with a reputable company, whos your insurance with google them and look for there policy summary online some companies even if you ring to ask them if your covered they willl count it as a claim (happened to someone i work with) x

It should be, have you got your policy booklet?

Yeh shouldnt be a problem, have you got your policy booklet?

Whatever you do though dont ring and ask as some count this as a claim, Look through your policy statement first :)

Have you got your booklet? If not you are best to call them and just enquire.

I don't have an excess fee on my policy, but do when it comes to personal items away from the property and just had to fork out £150 for an iPhone after mine was stolen at NYE :( hopefully your actual contents will be excess free. GL x
