Hi everyone. I just got new ugg boots last week, first time I wore them my brother spilled fizzy juice on them.

It dried in spots of black and looks awful.

I had been advised to steam clean them so held them over the kettle a couple of times.

This hasn't taken the stain out and has also made the suede feel hard and darker on the boots so they now don't match.

I have seen a dry cleaners does specialist cleaning but it's £25.

Any solutions before I go in the corner and cry?

Thanks everyone xx

Ugg do a cleaning kit. It's a bit pricey at £25ish but it's good, it has cleaner/conditioner/protector and a cleaning brush. It gets most things out of mine.

I also heard that ugg cleaner is good. Maybe worth getting so you have it incase you need it again too.

I wouldnt risk using rumoured remides hun as you might ruin tgem further which will cost more to replace than £25 to dry clean or buy the ugg cleaning kit

Ugg cleaning kit is the way forward, yes it's pricy but they do the job and you know they won't be ruined. Also if you do decide to go with that then go on YouTube and watch some instruction videos because the instructions on the bottles that come with the care kit aren't the most detailed and you want to make sure you use the stuff properly. It helps to get a visual representation too.
