clear blue digital question

Now I know that I'm not suppose to look at the stick when i eject it the CB digital but I got a smiley face on CD 14 at 930pm and i could barely see a test line show up at all. tested again the next day CD 15 at noon and the line at least showed up but was very very light. Am I catching early surge or this is how these test work??

What are your experiences with these??

I haven't used the digital opks before but it is anything like the digital pregnancy test you are not supposed to look at the lines, just the words.

i just posted this on another thread, but once upon a time the test line was as dark or darker than the control when you ejected the test..... my last box this was not the case at all! i used my internet cheapies and I was def. catching my LH surge as the test line on those were WAY darker than the control line. so maybe it was just this box of tests? regardless, the instructions say to not look at the lines....but like i said, in the past, when I got a smiley face the "test" line was also dark....hmmmm.
