Okay ladies. I am confused.com!
So! The store was out of normal OPKs so I bought the Clearblue Dual Hormone Indicator ones. Totally my fault, but I didn´t read instructions properly and started testing way too late (CD 12, as I usually get a smiley on day 14 bang on schedule with the normal Clearblue OPKs)
Apparently, with the dual hormone kits, if you start testing too late it sets the base levels wrong and doesn´t work properly, which I totally understand.
But what confuses me, is after days of Nothing (when I most likely did ovulate at that time, as I got my period bang on schedule like I do every month) I got a positive result on calendar day 17? I know most of you will say your body changes every month, but I ALWAYS get my period EXACTLY 14 days after a positive OPK and this month I got it only 9 days after.
Is there any reason I could have a positive so late in my cycle due to starting testing so late? (I.e it was to do with base levels being wrong rather than actually ovulating late in cycle?)
