Clomid and SUper painful O

I am taking 50 mg days 5-9. currently on cd 17. got my first positive opk on cd 16. have been having periodic cramping since i started clomid but the last two days have had lotsa cramps progressively getting worse. today i can barely sit up!! also lotsa back pain, bloating. i am assuming this is o, but i have not had any follicle tracking. only gettting cd 21 bloods. should i be worried about overstim or is this much cramps normal?? i havent o'd in like 10 years and this is my first cycle of clomid.

My first ovulation on Clomid was like that and I know a few others were the same...I odn't think it's overstimulation (which I believe is practically impossible at 50mg) i think there's just more follicles and therefore slightly more follicle bleeding which is what cause the discomfort.

Good luck for this cycle, but just in case not, it does get less over subsequent cycles.

I had really bad ovulation pains when I was on Clomid. I had produced 3 follicles so I'm assuming that was the reason I was in so much pain.

thanks ladies. the pain has diminished so much! i am still a bit achy but nothing like it was. plus i got a negative opk today so i am assuming i ov'd yesterday!
