Clomid + Femara anyone?

So this is my first month of monitoring, and I'm curious if anyone else has had the same experience. My RE prescribed 100 mg. of Clomid which I took days 4-8 (Day 3 was a Sunday and they require blood work before they give you the go ahead to take it). I had an u/s on CD 11 which showed 2 follicles that were almost 10 mm, and then today on CD 13 I only had 1 follicle that has grown to 11 mm. Because of the slow follicle growth, they gave me a prescription for Femara to start today and take for the next 5 days for the purpose of "feeding" the follicle that is still growing. Has anyone had any experience with a clomid + femara cycle like this, and did it result in better follicle growth?

Well, just in case anyone was curious about this in the future, I thought I'd mention how it turned out. At my u/s 3 days after starting femara I had 3 follicles instead of just the 1, they were 14, 12, and 11 mm. Another u/s 2 days later showed one large follicle and one mid-size follicle. I triggered the day after that and confirmed this morning that I ovulated both follicles . I guess I can't know for sure if it was the addition of femara that helped me gain follicles and increase their growth, but it definitely didn't hurt. On the clomid alone my follicle growth was maybe 1/2 mm per day, and after the addition of femara it was at least 1 mm per day.
