Hi everyone

I'm just about to start my first round of clomd. I have endo which the doctor thinks is mucking up my ov. Although i get positive opks and progesterone tests suggest i ovualte, my luteal phase is only 6 days long! Other than that I don't have much scaring or anything so i'm soooooooo hopeful this will really help. If not it's IVF for me in a few months and I want to avoid that if at all poss. Has anyone else taken clomid for a short luteal phase and did it help? I've had a few months just taking progesterone suppositories during the luteal phase but not a sniff of a bfp yet.

I'm feeling really positive which is a good thing. though in the back of my mind I rmemeber how convinced I was that I would get pregnant easily at the start of all this. I'm 36 now (37 in June) so the clock is ticking argggh!

Oh - and I'm starting acupuncture next week to see if that helps!

Would love to hear back from anyone who has had similar experiences!

Acupuncture is definitely the best thing you could be doing, in my opinion. It's wonderful. Can also recommend a book about using Traditional Chinese Medicine to treat infertility, The Infertility Cure, by Randine Lewis. My TCM prac told me to get it, to further explain my treatment and give me additional things to try. You are going to an acu prac trained in treating infertility aren't you? It's a wonderful treatment, hope you really enjoy it.
I started a thread a while back on the TTC forum, called The Really Useful TCM thread - there are quite a few of us contributing to it; I think you may find it useful (as the title suggests).
Come over and visit us :flower:
You're right - positivity is a great thing to have on your side.
