Yep, you'll be more than fine starting the robitussin or mucinex when you get back on cd8. You mentioned you got a bbt thermometer too, right? You can start temping when you get back too.... No biggie if you don't have a full cycle worth of temps. You'll have the few days of lower temps before you O, and you'll still see a temp rise the day after O. Like I said, my very first chart ever only had a few days of pre-O temps, and I entered the dates I got the pos opk too, and FF was still able to confirm O after my temp went up. Btw, I completely agree with you that you were prego. They detected some hcg in your blood, so I'm actually really surprised that when their second test came back neg, that they didn't have you come in for an u/s to see what went on in there. I know they can't ever tell what went wrong that early, but it seems like a dr would at least want to do an u/s to see if they could see anything at all. Seems like they were pretty insensitive and a little too laid back about something like that. I suppose that's what's considered a chemical preg? I don't know a ton about that though, so maybe as long as they know your hcg levels went down, they didn't feel any additional tests were necessary. I know it's very common.
Have you done blood work? Since this happened, maybe they need to check that your progesterone is sufficient. Well anyway, like you said, you got prego, so now you know you can conceive, yay!!!
