clomid ladies please help me!! xxx

Yayyyyy!!! AF has arrived!!! (Never said that before!!)... I was waiting to come on my period so I can start clomid!! :-D

My question is, does clomid shorten cycles? My average cycle is 32 days, and I ovulate on day 17-18... I'm wondering if clomid will make me ovulate early?

I'm asking this because I am a live in carer for a disabled lady, and my shift goes 4 days on, 4 days off... 24 hours a day for 4 days!!! And I don't want ovulation to fall on the day that I wil be at work for 4 days because I won't be able to BD!... On my rota, I am working 15th 16th 17th and 18th of this month! Then off 19th 20th 21st and 22nd, if I ovulate before day 14 of my cycle! I won't be able to BD!

Help! Xxx

Sorry but everyone is different from what I've read. Some people ov early, some late, and some it doesn't alter.

They say you ovulate 5-10 days after your last pill but everyone is different. I would recommend starting to use opks like three days after your last pill. I took my clomid on cd3-7 last cycle and didn't get a positive opk until cd18. So anything is possible.

I have irregular cycles and they are quite long but with clomid I always ov days 14-16!

Thankyou smiley kez... So I imagine your cycle is shorter not that you ovulate earlier... Xxx
