For those of you who have used Clomid before, what was your O day? I'm on CD 17 and still haven't had a temperature shift. I had a positive OPK two days ago in the morning, then it was negative for the rest of the day, then yesterday morning it was positive again. I have been having some cramping and sore BB's, but can't confirm that I have ovulated as I have not yet had a temperature shift.

OPk's = crap.

Are you being monitored?

No, I'm currently only doing 50mg for PCOS. I have done one round of 50mg in the past with BFN (several years ago), but I did ovulate during that cycle because I got my period, but I don't remember how long that cycle was. I have since had two natural pregnancies (one of which resulted in m/c). I ovulate very infrequently, so they are just trying to get my cycle going again. When I had my miscarriage in February, I have only had one natural cycle since then.

You can't judge whether or not you ovulate just because you have a period. I've done a clomid cycle and had my period but never ovulated. We found 50mg does nothing for me but 100mg did the trick. I highly recommend seeing a fertility specialist and have your cycles monitored. It takes out all the guess work. I actually just went for my scan today (CD16) and my follicles are ready to be triggered. I don't do OPK's, I don't temp, cause its not needed.

Totally agree with everything you said. I usually have my periods, although they are irregular but rarely seem to ovulate. OPK's are just ugh, ever so frustrating. I took 200 mg my first time around on Clomid but today I found out that, that was a big mistake on the pharmacy's part. I was only suppose to be given 100 mg, so this month I am going to start 100 mg.
