I had a mmc last July, at around 11 weeks. My DH and I struggled to conceive again naturally, and we were put on 50 mg of Clomid in January, after 6 unsuccessful cycles...apparently my progesterone is slightly low, and causing weak ovulation. Well, that first round of Clomid was a success, and I became pregnant again. I miscarried that one before I was even 5 weeks along.
So, I've followed the instructions of my OB, and I've been on baby aspirin for the past several weeks, and I'm taking a B-50 complex, and progesterone cream in my luteal phase, 3 days post-O day. I've waited 2 cycles, and now, as of today, I'm back on Clomid. I've given up all caffeine, and am exercising moderately, and eating well. They will not do any testing unless I've had 3 miscarriages...I tried pushing the issue, and got no where with it. The doctors feel I have "a great chance" this 3rd time around. I have no idea what they are basing that opinion off of, but whatever.
Obviously the B-vits and progesterone cream have boosted my progesterone...my regular LP of 14 days became 16 days instead this last cycle. And I'm hoping the baby aspirin will help with my lining while I'm on Clomid, and also help with any minor blood coagulation issues that I may have...
So, now that I'm back on Clomid, I'd like to hear from some of you PAL ladies that miscarried on Clomid, gave Clomid another go, and then went on to have success with it. I guess my biggest fear, is that the Clomid won't work as well again, and I won't know where to go from there...or, I'll miscarry a third time. I know there are no guarantees for anyone with this stuff...but I want to feel encouraged that there are other ladies out there who have lost a Clomid baby, only to go ahead and conceive another Clomid baby.
Stories and experiences are much welcome right now, please. Thanks for listening, and congrats to all of you for your BFP's and rainbow babies!
