Clomid not working after miscarriage?

Hey all, just wondering if anyone is experiencing the same as me...

First round of clomid was 50mg cd5-9, o'ed on cd20 (cd13 ultrasound showed my largest follicle was 12.9mm) and was pregnant but miscarried at 5 weeks. My 2nd round is the same dosage and days, except I just got my ultrasound results back today from cd16, and my follicles were half the first size at 6.6 and 6.1. I'm wondering if anyone has had this happen after a miscarriage where the original dosage that used to work, is no longer making you ovulate after mc?

Hello

I've also experienced similar! I took 50mg clomid days 2-6 and became pregnant but miscarried at 7 weeks. I've taken 50mg clomid twice since and haven't ovulated its now almost 6 months since the mc and I'm still not pregnant. Hoping to get back to see my fs or gp so I can see whats going on. Its all so frustrating I don't understand why it could work the first time and now its not.

Were you given any explanation?

No, she just said it sometimes happens and that I will need to increase my dose next round.... I do agree tho, it's irritating that now all of a sudden it's not working. As if our bodies weren't playing enough tricks on us! ! Lol

KLM, I may be trying Clomid this month. Two months after a Miscarriage. I've never been on it so I hope that it works.
Fingers crossed for you too! Do you have unexplained infertility?

Well since I have pcos, I don't even have af on my own. Therefore, I also do not ovulate on my own. It's such a pain!
