hi all. I have recently been put on clomid but the docs said that all my results were fine. My husband has been told that he has low sperm count and motility. my doc said that the clomid will maybe give my husband's sperm more eggs to aim at!!!! Is anyone else in the same situation??? Are there any success stories out there?? I just dont see how putting me on tablets will make a difference when my husbands swimmers aren't swimming too well!!! Is there no medication out there to help him??

there's things he can do to help - my husbands morphology went from 6 to 10% in a couple of weekw, just by taking vitamin c and zinc, making sure he cleared the guys out every other days, less caffeine and booze and warm showers instead of hot baths.

And as long as he has swimmers, you're in with a chance. Clomid can make you kick out more eggs so each extra egg doubles your chances. Best of luck xxx

hi....we were told my dh had bad sperm, low motility & count....were devasted, especially as i had just been diagnosed with polycysts on my only ovary:( my dh started taking fertile aid for men pills & within 1mth his sperm result had improved but was still average... i had a hycosy to check for any blockages in my only tube & result was good so altho i was ovulating well anyway the fs put me on clomid, 50mg days 2-6.....dh started taking wellmans conception in oct 09 after a few mths on the fertile aid as they were getting really expensive, think all those kind of pills do the same thing anyway.

i was told the same thing, basically gives the sperm more chance of catching an egg as ur more than likely will produce more & better quality eggs too with clomid.

happy to say i am now 9 weeks pregnant with twins!! we got our BFP on 4th cycle of clomid.

good luck xx

hey thanks for that dancingkaty1. that has really given me some hope!!! Please little swimmers swim ;)
