clomid round 2! Anyone else?

Hey ladies,
A little about the last couple months. I started AF feb 4th, took clomid for the first time cd 2-6( I started my period at night just before bed so I counted the next day as cd 1.) Got a BFP 7dpo!!! Lost my little bean 6w2d.
Ever since I had periods, they were always 3 to 4 months apart, always long and irregular...but since the miscarriage, they have been every month. My doc wanted me to wait 3 months before starting again...I just seen him today and he told me to go ahead and start clomid again cd 2-6 (again my period just started like 20 minutes ago so I will be counting tomorrow as cd1 and will be starting 50mg clomid thursday night. my first cycle on clomid I took it at night and didnt have ANY symptoms so im sticking with taking them at night. Any ladies out there starting Clomid around the same time?

Hi! I just started my first pill today, cycle day 3-7 is when im taking mine... Im so sorry to hear about your mc, that must have been incredibly hard...

I conceived my DS jan 2012 using 50mg of Clomid, Dr. Said not to get my hopes up about it happening that fast again... But that it could happen...

Did you have side effects from the Clomid?

It was very hard to go through. I knew it was a strong possibility (i have pcos) but I didnt think it would, I had been trying for soo long and didnt think after finally conceiving that I would lose the baby. But it happened, and I have to keep trying so I can finally hold my bundle of joy.
I am feeling very confident that I will conceive quickly on clomid again!
As for symptoms, NONE. I took my pills at night before bed and must of slept through them because I didnt notice one difference in taking them. Thanks for replying!!!! hope we get our BFP this cycle!!!!

I think taking them at night is the way to go! I totally would have done it last time had I heard that it might be better for side effects! This time, I want to mimic last time as much as possible... Fx'd for both of us!

hey ladies..today was my 1st day taking clomid for the 2nd round!! 1st round was last month & I was told to take them without having a cycle bc it was so irregular so im on 2-6...#ttc #2 almost a 6 months now...are yall taking any other vitamins alone with the clomid??

I'm taking folic acid and a pre- natal vitamin too. Did you have a AF after your first month of Clomid? I've never heard of a doctor prescribing Clomid without having a period. You might be interested in taking the drug provera if that happens again... It makes you have a period and then you can start Clomid on your actual CD2. It's just an idea! I've been around the block so to speak and have researched everything I could think of! Are you taking other vitamins as well?

yes after the 1st round I had my cycle...blood work and all Came back normal... Im taking a prenatal as well wasn't sure if I Should take something else....my friend was telling me she did Clomid and geritol ( think its spelled right) & got her bfp 1st cycle I did some looking & they say its a baby in every bottle have you tired that?? hopefully this second round I get my bfp this is very nerve wrecking

I've never heard of that! But I'm definitely going to look it up! I started seeing tracers last night... I was really late and had I been sleeping like every other normal person does at 2am, I wouldn't have been known. Today is fine though...

I read today that taking baby aspirin helps something dealing with the blood!so I took heed to that & brought some. your 1st round of clomid did you take anything different with it or just it alone?

I took metformin (1500mg) and prenatal vit.. along with my clomid

I didn't use OPK's but I'm praying I did this weekend!!! I had lots of symptoms when will you start testing?

Good luck all! Clomid worked for me 2nd cycle...it's a wonder drug! Interestingly, my husband was a clomid bubba too! x

I thought I would ovulate soon, my opks were getting darker, but the one I took just a few minutes ago was much lighter, now im confused and upset. I have no ewcm, but clomid has a negative effect on that right?. Last cycle on clomid I ovulated cd 14, today is cd 14 and no ovulation.

maybthismonth, congrats on your BFP and I hope you have a wonderful 9 months, well 7 now I guess

I plan on testing at the end of the month, last cycle on clomid I had a BFP on 7dpo so I will start testing around then once ovulation comes

Your last OPK may have caught the upsurge but now you're between the up and down surge. Keep testing today and tomorrow and have sex anyway

Got a positive opk today, think I will miss my chance though as hubby was sick the last two days and wasnt able to BD

Aw that's so frustrating! Sorry to hear that he is I'll and your not able to BD. It's still awesome that you ovulated!!

We werent able to BD a couple days before positive opk but we BD 3 days before, and day of positive so I hope that is enough!!!
