Hi there,

Last cycle was my first cycle on 100 mg of Clomid.

I did not get pregnant. Got my period after 30 days (normal for me) and now I'm on CD 4 and I am still getting hot flashes that feel like the ones I had when I first started taking the pills.

I actually can't continue with the Clomid due to vision side effects that my doctor thought were too risky. So that's all I took. 100 mg last CD 5-9 and I am still occasionally getting hot flashes? Anyone else experience this??

Hoping it's not something more serious...:nope:

I'm on clomid this cycle but I'm currently only 2DPO so I can't really help but I. An sympathize?
I had hot flushes as one of my symptoms when I took clomid but they were only every now and again. It's winter here so they aren't that bad ha ha. I stopped taking it 5 days ago and I think I only had a few hot flushes 1 or 2 days after. I hope I don't keep getting them??
Hope your hot flushes die down soon, that can suck! Luckily mine didn't last long and weren't too hot :)

Oh I was only on 50mgs, maybe it takes longer to leave your system the higher the dose?

I did three 50mg cycles of clomid and had some residual symptoms the cycle I stopped. Some of the clomid can stay in your system for up to 6 weeks so continued side effects can be normal. I even managed to ovulate (albeit late) the cycle after clomid which I was pretty impressed with!!

If you're worried contact the person who prescribed it & ask them about continued side effects. Good luck this cycle - you may still have enough clomid in your system to do some good

Can I ask if clomid was successful for you? I mean in the way of multiple egg production? Obviously I don't know the reason you were on it but did it "do it's job" even if it didn't result in a :bfp: ?

Hi miana - I was on 50mg clomid and ovulated cd 17, 21 & 30 in consecutive cycles. No bfp but I def ov'd - it showed up on ff. I didn't have monitored cycles so I don't know how many eggs I "laid" lol!! I'm now trying 100mg and having monitored cycles - very excited to see how many follies I actually grow! Hope it's not too few or too many a seems a fine line to walk!

Hi annie! How have you been doing? Did the doc ever give you other options since you mentioned the vision issues?
