Clomid side effects

Hi, girls,

I am officially starting clomid next month. I know that there are many threads about clomid but I have not seen anybody speaking about any side effects. Could you share your experiences, please?

I have just posted a thread in this forum to ask about side effects, I have started taking clomid today, so far i defo feel much hotter.

My doctor mentioned I could potentially have multiple pregnancies (if only), i am having blood test done on day 21 and then i will go back after 2 cycles to see if the progest levels are at the right level if not they will move me up from 50 to 100, what schedule have they put you on?

What tests have you had done so far?

Well, I have not started it yet but they gave me 50 mg and on CD 19 they want a blood test done. I have actually low AMH. Most probably I don't ovulate regularly . Everything else is ok.

I worry that my stomach won't stand it . I hope I don't feel sick.

Hey yes i am on 50mg too, day 2 and apart from feeling a little hot its ok. As my period is still here there are a few twinges but nothing ab normal yet. I will keep you posted. I do feel very tired though but normally do around the early part of my cycle, i think because slightly emotional as did not get pregnant etc

Thanks very much smurphy. I am very nervous about it. To be honest I don't have patience for my next period and I want to start the tablet. I am sure that without help it won't happen for us. After 6 years on our own.....

Hi smurfy, how are you? Have you finished taking clomid? Any other side effects?

I've just come off 6 cycles I clomid... I found I was alot more emotional/hormonal, felt sick and tired occasionally and sometimes felt short of breath. I didn't realise it was he clomid till I came off it !!
Everyone is different on it Hun some have more than others,

I did 2 cycles of Comid and this current cycle I am doing Femara plus Follistim injectibles. The Clomid made me very hormonal and a pain the butt to be around along with constant headaches. The Femara was much better for me, no headaches and I wasn't as hormonal.

I did clomid a little over a year ago. It wasn't bad, but I had horrible hot flashes. I would just be sitting there and the next thing I would know would just get hot!

Also, something to note with clomid is that it decreases CM, so get some preseed or swimmer friendly lube.

I've just finished my 3rd round of clomid my progesterone hasn't moved it's highest is 0.9 and last cycle was 0.1 on 100mg. I did round three last week at 150mg. Day 6 after my clomid now and due my bloods tomorrow and I have bad cramping in my side x

When I had clomid, I had constant belly ache- I thought this was a good sign, but I never fell pregnant x
